The Zhongshan Cuisine Culture Carnival will be held from September 29 to October 5. During the event, Shiqi Pigeon, a specialty dish of Zhongshan, will make a great appearance together with such "flavors from the globe" as German beer and Latin American coffee. 

Splendid activities, such as intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, Han Chinese Clothing shows, the cooking competition for Cantonese cuisine chefs and the Dragon Boat Race, will take place, and all residents and friends are welcome to this food festival with Zhongshan characteristics and diverse tastes.

This food culture carnival for the coming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday will mainly include such activities as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Food Invitational, the Zhongshan-Macao Culinary Exhibition and the Beer Festival. Ten theme exhibition zones will be set up for Zhongshan local special banquets, Russian cuisine and etc, respectively to showcase brand souvenirs and creative cultural products from around the world. 

A cooking competition will be organized to display Top 10 Zhongshan Dishes and Top 10 Zhongshan Special Snacks, where world-class chefs will be invited to show off their cooking skills and teach dish making techniques onsite.

In addition, a creative 1,000-meter Pigeon Banquet will be held to showcase local enterprises' distinctive techniques in Zhongshan Pigeon dishes making.

During the Beer Festival, beer makers from Germany, Russia, South Korea and etc will be invited to jointly create a garden-style tasting zone. 

The coffee carnival will allow you to get an immersive experience of the coffee industry, from coffee cultivation and raw material production and processing, to coffee making, creative cultural products and coffee socializing.
