On October 25, the award ceremony of the 5th "My China Story" International Short Video Competition was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Zhongshan claimed won three awards.

Zhongshan Daily won the second prize in the Expats' Experiences category for its video We Are All Children of Nature: French Teacher Johan Reveals the Secrets of Nature to Chinese Kids, Guangdong Sharp Sense Media Co won the outstanding award for its video The British Manager of a Lighting Manufacturer in Guzhen, and the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee won the Outstanding Organization Award.

Journalists from Latin American countries, who came to China to cover the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, also attended the event.

The competition received a total of 57,865 entries from over 80 countries in five continents. A total of 96 awards were handed out.
