The Banfu Lixi New Year's Run and the 2023 Zhongshan Parent-Child Mountain Off-road Challenge will take place on December 30. Both online and offline registration channels are currently open.

Surrounded by mountains and adjacent to rivers, Lixi Village was once a revolutionary base village in Zhongshan and a pioneer of rural reform in Guangdong. It possesses abundant red culture resources. In recent years, Lixi Village has developed various tourist attractions, including the small and large circle roads, stone street, mountain scenic footpath, honeysuckle corridor, Xiangshan Study and more. Every weekend and holiday, thousands of tourists come here for recreation and entertainment.

For this running event, the sponsor sets up stunning routes for the participants to run through the beautiful landscape, including the 10-km Lixi-Jinzhong mountain footpath for professional runners, and the 4-km Lixi footpath for amateur and family runners.

All registered participants who finish the race will receive a medal. Prior to the competition, each participant will be provided with a number bib, a commemorative medal, a cultural T-shirt, tourism vouchers in Banfu, and other materials. A special market will also be set up at the event site.
