The First "Huang Miaozi Cup" National Calligraphy and Seal-carving Exhibition opened at the Zhongshan Museum of Art on January 16.

The organizer received a total of 4,960 artworks from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and the Hong Kong special administrative region, and 248 of them were given prizes and/or selected as displayed artworks. Additionally, 24 specially invited artworks are also on display.

This is the largest calligraphy exhibition ever held in Zhongshan as well as the first national-level brand calligraphy exhibition hosted by the city of Zhongshan. The exhibition will run through January 28.
