The opening ceremony of "The Artistic Making of Intangible Cultural Heritage" Guangzhou Sculpture Academy theme exhibition cum the Zhongshan Spring Festival Painting and Calligraphy Invitational Exhibition, co-hosted by the Guangzhou Sculpture Academy and Zhongshan Museum of Art, was held at the Zhongshan Museum of Art on February 4.

This is the first time that the Zhongshan Museum of Art has held a sculpture-themed exhibition since its opening, and Zhongshan has also become the first stop of the Guangzhou Sculpture Academy theme exhibition tour.

A total of 51 exceptional works from the Guangzhou Sculpture Academy are display, covering 32 ICH items across 9 categories including folk literature, traditional music, traditional dance and traditional drama.

Meanwhile, 43 pieces of paintings and calligraphy works by local artists in Zhongshan are also on display.
