The first Kaigeng Festival Celebration Activity was held in Dongfeng Town's Donggubu Village on March 27.

The venue is divided into several areas for traditional farming experience, farming tools exhibition, agricultural products exhibition and rural food.

Villagers from the surrounding areas and tourists arrived early at the venue. Some watched the farming games and cheered for the competitors, and some joined in the singing of salty water songs.

Twenty-three stalls are set up in the rural food area. Special delicacies such as Donggu fried pepper, Dongfeng banana bud and fish cake porridge, fried fish ball with chrysanthemum and others were offered to visitors for free.
