The year 2024 marks the 158th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's birth and the 170th anniversary of his brother Sun Mei's birth. On July 23, the exhibition "Two Brothers, One Minded - Sun Mei and Dr Sun Yat-sen" opened at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library.

Based on the cultural relics collection of the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen and the donations from Sun Mei's relatives, the exhibition is held to showcase Sun Mei's concern for his country, the solidity of brotherhood with Sun Yat-sen, and his contributions to modern China's democratic reform, independence and prosperity.

At the opening ceremony, Victor Sun, great-grandson of Sun Mei, presented the newly published book My Great Grandfather Sun Mei to various departments, including Zhongshan Overseas Friendship Association, Zhongshan Foreign Affairs Bureau and Zhongshan Archives.

The exhibition will run through August 18.
