The Zhongshan Nantou 5-player boat race kicked off on September 22. Sixty-one teams from different communities of Nantou Town competed with each other to show their speed and passion.

The race starts at Nantou Water Sports Park and ends at Jiafeng Park. All teams were required to make five round trips, covering a total distance of 14 kilometers. In the end, Suixi No.6 Team was the first to cross the finish line, followed by Min'an No.1 Team and Nancheng No.5 Team.

As a provincial intangible cultural heritage item, the Nantou 5-player Boat Race has a history of over 150 years.
