To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the "Going into Europe" 2024 Zhongshan-France Festival kicked off at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library on October 12.

Toegther with the Croisements Festival, the event presented an exhibition by French illustrator Caroline Péron titled "The Charm of Sports" to Zhongshan residents.

A series of diverse and interesting activities will be held during the event, including the South China opening ceremony of the Franco-Chinese Month of the Environment and a trade and cooperation meeting.

On the same day, the South China opening ceremony of the Franco-Chinese Month of the Environment was held in the Flow Farm in Zhongshan's South District, with some 200 Chinese and foreign guests attending. It was the first time the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou had held the opening ceremony of the event outside Guangzhou.
