Zhongshan, known as the hometown of a great leader and renowned for its beauty, will once again host the annual floral event. The 5th China (Zhongshan) Flower & Tree Industry Conference opened on November 8 at Xijiang Huazhou Park in Henglan Town.

With the theme of "Colorful Hundreds, Thousands and Millions: A New Green Zhongshan," the 15-day event, running from November 8 to 22, aims to attract national flower and tree industry associations, leading enterprises, research institutions, media and experts from across the country.

A highlight of this year's conference is the inaugural creative home flower exhibition. It features a selection of flower and tree species suitable for home environments, cleverly creating "balcony gardens" integrated into living scenes, presenting cutting-edge design concepts of home horticulture and eco-friendly home greening solutions, leading the new trend of home greening. Visitors will not only experience the integration of flowers and trees with home aesthetics up close but also immerse themselves in photo opportunities.

A series of enriching activities centered around beautiful scenery, flowers and art have been planned for the conference:

Several IP image photo areas and flower and tree photography exhibition areas, combined with interactive activities like flash mobs, will be set up.

The Food and Life Festival will gather local cuisine, coffee, handicrafts and more, echoing the flower and tree theme, offering visitors multiple leisure experiences.

The Green and Beautiful New Economy Music Festival will feature performances and themed concerts, the "Mobile Library", reading promotion activities, and film screenings, blending the fragrance of flowers with culture to enhance the audience's experience.

The Flower and Tree Craftsmanship Skills Competition will allow outstanding craftsmen to compete in projects including bonsai modeling, flower and plant pruning, grafting, and combined pot planting. The winning works will be displayed at the main venue.

In addition to the activities held in Xijiang Huazhou Park, visitors can also take in the sights of thousands of acres of flowers and trees in the surrounding areas, as well as flower landscapes designed in the traditions and styles of different provinces or regions. The splendidly colorful bougainvillea garden and the sunflower forest where white egrets roost are all within view.
