The 2025 preparatory meeting for the Greater Bay Area Media Development Alliance was held at Zhongshan Daily on May 15.

Co-hosted by Shenzhen Bao'an Daily and Zhongshan Daily, the meeting brought together representatives from nearly 15 leading media outlets in Guangdong. Attendees discussed how to drive the upgrading of the culture and tourism industry and boost regional economic development through media convergence.

The Alliance plans to organize the first "Greater Bay Area Culture & Tourism Promotion" in November at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, during which the "Guide to Premium Culture and Tourism Routes of Greater Bay Area" will be released and a selection activity of top 10 popular tourism landmarks within the Greater Bay Area will kick off.
