A media tour activity celebrating the first anniversary of the ShenZhong Link was held across Zhongshan and Shenzhen on July 1 and 2.

Over 70 participants, including journalists and Greater Bay Area online influencers, were invited to inspect key culture and tourism projects, model villages and model enterprises in both cities. The tour aimed to observe how the "half-hour living circle" created by the ShenZhong Link has accelerated industrial and tourism integration between the two cities.

On day one, the media delegation visited the link's management center and the West Island. They were mesmerized by the breathtaking scenery, capturing the magnificence of this century-defining project. The tour also included an in-depth investigation into how the "half-hour living circle" has spurred industrial integration between the two cities.

Day two featured immersive experiences in Zhongshan's Lingnan gardens and Shenzhen's modern urban landscapes, showcasing the seamless "dual-city lifestyle" enabled by the cross-sea link.

Since the link's opening, culture and tourism exchanges between Zhongshan and Shenzhen have surged. From July 2024 to May 2025, Zhongshan received 25.21 million visitors, up 26.94% year-on-year, generating 21.64 billion yuan in tourism revenue, up 23.47%.
