Many visitors from across the Greater Bay Area enjoyed an immersive countryside coffee journey in Zhongshan's Yakou Village last weekend.

As the main venue for the 2026 Zhongshan Spring Rural Coffee Festival, Yakou Village hosted a coffee market drawing 57 vendors. 

Beyond coffee and creative bites, specialty agricultural products from Jiamusi, Heilongjiang Province and Zhongshan farm products were also popular.

Village cafes across Yakou also joined the festival beyond the market scene.

By end-2025, over 170 Yakou youth had returned home to launch ventures like cafes, while 68 migrant entrepreneurs brought coffee culture, camping economy and more to the village.
