The 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Zhongshan) Dragon Boat Invitational will take place on the morning of June 19 along the Qijiang River stretch from Dongming Bridge to Kanghua Bridge in Shiqi subdistrict.

Dragon boat racers will slash through the waves vying for the title, treating residents and visitors to a stunning waterborne spectacle that fuses tradition with modernity.

Throughout the event, activities will also take place across the Sunwen West Road pedestrian street, Xingzhong Plaza and other venues, including a Chinese-chic music festival, night concerts, music flash mobs, a Dragon Boat Festival market, intangible cultural heritage parades, a dry-land dragon boat race, family-friendly dragon boat experiences, and water curtain shows.
