The eighth round of the Yue BA regular season tipped off as Team Zhongshan (in purple jerseys) traveled to face Team Yunfu, prevailing 105–95 on the evening of May 16.

The victory kept Team Zhongshan atop the western division standings, clinching a direct place in the final eight with one round to spare.

Next weekend, Zhongshan will host Zhuhai in their final regular-season matchup.
