The "Lunar April 8" Drunken Dragon Parade, a highlight of the 16th Drunken Dragon Cultural Carnival in Zhongshan's West District, started at the Yanzhou Academy on May 24.

At around 9 AM, parade teams including the Changzhou Drunken Dragon Troupe and the Changzhou Beibao Drunken Dragon Troupe marched through streets and alleyways to the beat of thunderous drums.

The activity also attracted international students from Tanzania, Chad, Russia and other countries, who joined local residents in experiencing this intangible cultural heritage. They picked up basic Drunken Dragon Dance moves, tried signature snacks and toured the Yanzhou Academy to gain a deeper understanding of Zhongshan's history and culture.
