The 6th Zhongshan Cross-Strait Forum opened on June 28 in Zhongshan, Guangdong, drawing about 2,000 participants.

At the opening ceremony, the Zhongshan municipal government and the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation to deepen economic and trade exchanges and promote integrated development.

Two sub-forums were held simultaneously on June 29, one at Sun Yat-sen University and the other in Zhongshan. A Lingnan tour for Taiwan youth, youth sports events, and a series of exchange activities will be held in July.
