The "Root-seeking Journey in China" Overseas Chinese Youth Summer Camp 2026 held the closing ceremony on July 6 at Zhongshan Yong'an High School.

Coinciding with the 55th anniversary of Ping-Pong Diplomacy between China and the United States, the summer camp program engaged young participants of Chinese descent in sports, science and innovation, and cultural exploration, fostering friendship and personal growth while deepening their connection to Chinese heritage.

Forty-nine young participants from the United States wrapped up the 10-day exchange and study tour, taking away memorable experiences in Zhongshan.

At the closing ceremony, they presented a talent show, using performances to reflect the insights they had gained over the 10 days.
