The 2026 "Charm of Guangdong" Roots‑Seeking Summer Camp (Zhongshan Young Reporters Camp) kicked off on July 23, bringing together 72 ethnic Chinese youth from 15 countries and regions for a 10‑day study tour.

The camp offers activities in journalism practice, technology exploration and cultural roots tracing, showcasing the development achievements of the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area and the unique allure of traditional Chinese culture from multiple angles.

"I will observe with my eyes, listen with my ears and feel with my heart, and share with my overseas friends a true, multi‑dimensional and vivid picture of China," said a participant from Germany.
