The Guangdong division of the national Village Basketball Association ("Village BA", or "CunBA") reached its fourth match day on August 5, with defending champion Zhongshan Shaxi (in white) facing host Yunfu Yunan on the road.

After four quarters, Zhongshan Shaxi claimed a 100‑71 victory, securing first place in its group with one round to spare and advancing to the quarterfinals.
