Zhongshan Shaxi (in white) defeated Dongguan Humen 83-68 on the evening of August 9 in Yunfu city, finishing with a perfect 8-0 record, to win the Guangdong division champion of the national Village Basketball Association ("Village BA", or "CunBA").

In the coming September, Zhongshan Shaxi will represent Guangdong in the CunBA southern regional tournament held in Guangxi's Nanning, competing against opponents from Shanghai, Zhejiang, Fujian and other places for a spot in the national finals.
