A show was staged on the evening of August 10 at the Zhongshan Service Area on the Guangzhou-Macao Expressway, and an art exhibition on rural revitalization also opened at the venue.

The gala presented a variety of performances: dance pieces inspired by Cantonese music and Xiaolan chrysanthemum, showcasing Lingnan culture's elegance; short plays, folk songs and saltwater songs with dance, recreating the rustic charm of water towns; Cantonese pop hits and classic melodies, conveying vitality and perseverance; classical dancing self-choreographed by expressway workers, blending ancient and modern styles; a chorus of "Getting Wish" by 16 overseas students, expressing a shared bond across the world; and etc.
Earlier in July, the west zone of the Zhongshan Service Area opened to the public. The upgraded facility integrates the distinctive Lingnan water-town style and features diverse consumer scenarios including boutique retail, ICH-themed trendy products, local cuisine, and agricultural products sales exhibitions.
