An evening of chamber music enchanted audiences at the Zhongshan Culture and Art Center on September 11. The Edinburgh Quartet, a renowned UK ensemble with an illustrious 66-year history, took the stage to deliver a high-caliber concert for local music lovers.

Founded in 1960, the Edinburgh Quartet is one of the UK's most prestigious and longest-standing chamber ensembles, and has long been invited to record and broadcast for flagship BBC programs such as In Tune and Classics Unwrapped.
Ahead of the performance, the four musicians — first violinist Sadie Fields, second violinist Gongbo Jiang, violist Catherine Marwood, and cellist Mark Bailey — held a dedicated workshop to share their deep insights into the art of chamber music.
"Zhongshan has given us so many wonderful experiences. It is a vibrant city, and the people here truly appreciate the arts," said Sadie Fields.
