The 2026 YueBA City Basketball Elite Challenge tipped off at the Zhongshan Gymnasium on the evening of September 20, with Zhongshan (in orange-red jersey) playing at home against Chaozhou.

Chen Guilin and Yuan Jinyao, respectively MVP and MUP at the recent YueBA All-Star Game, appeared together to meet fans and hand out gifts. The joint appearance was the highlight of the game.

The Zhongshan team will next play Jieyang, Shantou, Shenzhen and others it has yet to face. Chaozhou will also host the elite challenge in November and will invite Zhongshan to attend.
