The Zhongshan Nanyang-Style Tourism Week opened with a stage show at Xingzhong Plaza in Shiqi subdistrict on the evening of September 27.

Overseas Chinese leaders, entrepreneurs and students and overseas returnees and their relatives from such countries and regions as the United States, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, Ecuador and Argentina were invited to the event. Also in attendance included representatives of industry associations and demonstration businesses.

The event will run through October 8, featuring more than 70 activities. Main venues are set up at the Sunwen West Road pedestrian street and the Qijiang River banks, and sub-venues in Shiqi, West District, East District, South District and Gangkou.
