On 11 February, at the grand 38th Zhongshan Charity Parade, the presence of the China (Hong Kong) English School (CHES) parade team was particularly eye-catching. As a loyal participant of this event of charity every year, the school once again organized a passionate and caring team, composed of foreign teachers, administrative staff from various campuses and teacher representatives who marched in a grand procession into this torrent of love and hope.

Since its establishment, participating in the charity parade has become a meaningful tradition for CHES students and teachers. Over the past 30-plus years, the school motto of "Learned and Trustworthy, Innovative and Dedicated" has been deeply rooted in the heart of every teacher and student, and charity and public welfare have become a shining chapter in the school's culture.

In 2024, the school raised 300,000 yuan through the large campus event New Year Charity Carnival, with all the funds donated to the municipal and town-level branches of the Red Cross Society of China. These kind-hearted deeds not only demonstrated the school's compassion but also transformed into tangible assistance, reaching every corner of society.
