On March 3, another Lantern Festival arrived. The 39th Zhongshan Charity Parade was successfully held, and China (Hong Kong) English School (CHES) was once again invited to participate in this urban charity gala. Representatives of teachers and students, carrying the charitable donations collected from the entire school, appeared at the event and completed the donation to the Red Cross Society of China Zhongshan Branch.

At the end of last year, the school launched charity carnivals across its kindergarten, primary and secondary sections. Teachers, students and parents joined hands to organize charitable sales and public benefit performances, ultimately raising over 300,000 yuan. The entire amount was donated to the Red Cross Society of China Zhongshan Branch to support public welfare initiatives such as rural revitalization, Red Cross humanitarian aid, and emergency rescue.

Having first participated in the Zhongshan Charity Parade in the early 1990s, CHES has never missed this city's grand event with love for over 30 years. The school integrates charity education into daily life, with teachers, students and parents contributing according to their abilities, whether by donating money or goods, performing on stage, or providing hands-on service, making everyone a practitioner and promoter of the charitable spirit. Over the past three decades, the school has cumulatively donated over 7 million yuan to the Red Cross cause and has been awarded the China Red Cross Humanitarian Service Activity Medal.
