The final of Zhongshan Beautiful Essay Contest 2018, which is sponsored by Zhongshan Civilization Office, Zhongshan Daily Group and Zhongshan Association of Cyber Culture, will be held on December 9.

Serial activity “Golden Quotation Selection” is firstly launched. People can vote their favorite quotation through “Zhongshan Daily APP” or official Wechat account “zhongshandaily”. The best five quotations, along with the other five selected by professional judges, will make up the “Top10 Quotations” of the year.

Total bonus of the essay contest is 100,000 yuan, including 20,000 yuan for the champion.

Reportedly, “Zhongshan Daily APP” added a new column “Wen Peng” in August 2017. So far it has collected 16,800 essays and published 2,800, the authors of which are mainly from Pearl River Delta and cities outside of Guangdong Province.
