About 95% of the construction of Jinzi Mountain Park has been completed so far, according to Tan Haiying, staff of Zhongshan Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau. The park will be partly opened to the public before the Spring Festival in 2019.

Next to the main entrance on Chenggui Road, the youth and children’s activity square is basically completed. On the right side of the entrance is a large lawn. The children’s playground is on the east side of the lawn.

Walking up the main road, you can see a “cliff”. “This is one of the abandoned quarries. We turned it into a fountain landscape with a diameter of 63 meters. It can shoot water up to 25 meters high.” Tan Haiying said.

Another abandoned quarry locates at the northern part of the park. It is renovated into a literature garden with a lotus pond, where visitors can take a rest.

The third abandoned quarry lies on the west side of the park. A science museum and a cultural square are built there.

A parking lot for over 40 cars has been built at the main entrance on Chenggui Road. At the other entrance near Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School, there will be another 400 public parking spots.
