April 23 has been designated as World Book and Copyright Day. The Zhoingshan Federation of Trade Unions officially launched a platform called "Electronic Bookstore for Staff" on the official WeChat account of "Zhongshan Workers Online" on the same exact day. The platform provides various reading resources including nearly 50,000 e-books, 400 kinds of digital magazines, and over 10,000 hours of audio books for the public and workers for free.

It has been learned that the platform contains e-books, digital journals, and audio books covering ideological and political science, the humanities and social sciences, novel and art, historical biography, and economic management.

In recent years, the Zhongshan Federation of Trade Unions has been committed to creating a brand of its cultural works. As a result, it has promoted the "Bookstore for Staff" platform for all levels of trade union federations within the city. To comply with the development trends of the internet and higher demands for digital reading, the platform of "Electronic Bookstore for Staff" was launched on the basis of nationwide electronic bookstores for staff. It was developed by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions this year, and it offers coordinated development both online and offline.
