Fishing, rice harvesting, and scarecrow making…The first Tanzhou Rice Harvest Festival was held at Jufeng Fruit Plantation Base in Yuzhou Village from July 10 to July 11. Citizens were able to get close to nature and experience the fun of farming and harvesting.

In 2021 in Tanzhou Town, 1,500 mu was used as planned early-season rice planting area. The Tanzhou Agricultural Service Center planted 1,091 mu of rice in 4 government-reserved plots, and mobilized farmers to plant 139.8 mu of rice. The time of year has come for this rice to be harvested.
