According to Zhongshan Human Resource and Social Security Bureau, from August 2nd, Zhongshan citizens can apply for social security card on the WeChat Official Account of Zhongshan Human Resource and Social Security Bureau and pay fees with Alipay, without going to the Bureau in person.

In the past, if Zhongshan citizens applied for social security card on WeChat, they needed to go to the bank or the Bureau to pay fees with the order number, which is unnecessary now.

Zhongshan citizens can log on the WeChat Official Account of Zhongshan Human Resource and Social Security Bureau, click the column “services for citizens” and choose“Social Security Card Application (first time)” to put their personal information into the system. After confirming their personal information, Zhongshan citizens can press the “confirm” button to complete the application.
