On August 8, Huang Liru won the bronze medal at the 13th National Game in Judo. She became the first Zhongshan athlete who obtained trophy in this national games.

Huang Liru was born in a rural family in Tanzhou town in 1996. In the third grade of primary school, she was selected to the school judo-interest-team for systematic training.

In September of 2006, Huang Liru entered Zhongshan Sports School’s training team and was then selected by affiliated school team of Guangdong Vocational Institute of Sport Affiliated School (aka provincial team). In March of 2012, she was admitted by the PLA August No.1 Jinan judo team.

Over the years, Huang Liru has won several gold medals in judo competitions at provincial, national and Asian level.
