On August 30th, Dachong town of Zhongshan city was listed as one of the “China Characteristic Small Town” and provincial demonstration sites. In addition, “Xiaolan Jucheng Smart Valley” and “Guzhen Lighting Small Town” were also included on the list of provincial demonstration sites. There are over 30 towns and demonstration zones in Guangdong on the list.

The lighting industry chain of Guzhen, one of the first national characteristic towns,  has extended into high-end areas including product techniques, sales platform, supporting services, and cultural creativity. More than 10,000 factories are located in Guzhen that deal in light decoration manufacturing, sales and accessories, and there are 300,000 practitioners in this industry.
