The BRICS Summit was held on September 3 to 5 in Xiamen. The conference venue, Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, was decorated a uniquely beautiful view. The welcoming corridor, through which leaders entered, was in particular shaped like traditional gables and even more culturally appealing against the artistic lighting. 

On September 5, Lu Weilin, board secretary of Huayi Lighting, was still excited when he saw the conference center from TV. He said several months ago he led a team to design the lighting for this project. The team went through a dozen procedures from the design to testing and completed the project in only three months, which usually takes half a year. 

Besides the corridor, Huayi Lighing was also responsible for lighting decoration of the west and east exterior of the 120,000-square-meter large Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, which was made as bright as glittering bricks at night through optical control technology. Three staffs of the company remained at the conference venue in case of any emergency during the BRICS Summit.
