In recent years, Zhongshan has made remarkable achievements in cultural industry owing to the deepening reform in cultural institutional mechanism.  

It is learned that Zhongshan’s 277 administrative villages will be turned into high-standard rural communities, while 377 cultural squares will be constructed. The “10-minute cultural circle” will be basically established when the public culture infrastructure area per 10 thousand people reaches 1,500 square meters.    

According to incomplete statistics, more than 6,000 art activities will be held in Zhongshan each year, with more than 20 cultural brands such as “green and colorful summer holiday culture”, “citizen’s stage” and “music festival in park” created.
