Recently representatives of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council researched Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots’ utilization of housing provident fund in Zhongshan. According to Zhongshan Housing Provident Fund Center, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots are allowed to deposit housing provident fund in Zhongshan with the same right of use as Zhongshan citizens and workers.

By the end of June this year, up to 202 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots deposit housing provident fund of their own accord. About 64% of them withdrew 57.54% of the total amount of deposit for their own use.
