Recently, Zhongshan Bureau of Education announced the list of "2017 Pre-school Education Special Awards and Subsidies Program". A total of 28 kindergartens will be financed from 20,000 to 180,000 yuan respectively and 1.473 million yuan in total. Among them, Yingmiao Kindergarten based in Torch Zone gains the most awards and subsidies, which is 180,000 yuan.

Reportedly, the funds are mainly used for the school buildings construction, functional rooms and venues improvement, extra facilities and equipment acquisition, and etc. But in the application for the awards and subsidies, kindergarten need to have the corresponding matching funds.

Among the 28 there are 8 run by collective units and 20 private kindergartens.
