On September 27, in the central square of Zhongshan Expo Center, owners of dozens of motorcycles lined up to obtain free smart theftproof “electronic labels”. It was the launching of the “motorcycles intelligent sensing and theftproof system project”, one of the ten major people’s livelihood project of the year. The municipal government planned to distribute 200 thousand electronic devices to motorcycle owners of Zhongshan city for free. 

According to the plan, citizens in Shiqi District, East District, West District and South District could first enjoy this service for free, and citizens in other towns would have access to it after October. 

It is learned that, after installing their motorcycles with “electronic labels”, owners can track their vehicles with the help of an App in their mobile phones. When abnormality occurs, the mobile phone APP will remind the owner of the vehicles. After confirming the situation, owners can call the police and use the system to track the vehicles.
