Good news came on the first day of the National Day holiday that four towns in Zhongshan, including Nanlang town, Banfu town, Guzhen town and Nantou town, were selected among the first 38 "Guangdong Forestry Town".

Since the beginning of the year, different places within Guangdong put efforts in development of forestry towns and application of "Guangdong Forestry Town" title.

There are three types of “Guangdong Forestry Town", which are “Leisure and Livable Town”, “Ecotourism Town” and “Lingnan Water Town”. During 2016-2020, Guangdong is to build 200 forestry towns.
