The official WeChat account of Zhongshan People’s Government, which is operated by the municipal government office, come into use on the morning of October 16. 

The WeChat account of Zhongshan government is deemed as the new media platform for government information openness. It mainly releases latest official news including government information, major decisions, important government documents and governmental affairs the leaders or functional departments participated in through words, pictures, audios and videos. 

In addition to releasing daily information, the Zhongshan government Wechat account also has three modules. If you click “Government Affairs” button, you will find the governmental information regarding ordinary meetings, government documents, policy interpretations, offical notices and etc. Clicking “Public Services” you can deal with administrative examination and approval with your smart phone. If you have good advice, you can give feedback through “Communication and Interaction” function. The government will also conduct regular opinion polls to collect reference comments on government decision-making from citizens.
