The Economics and Information Commission of Guangdong Province recently released the 9th list of “Hong Kong-Guangdong Cleaner Production Partners”. Six Zhongshan-based companies including Haolai Chemical Company and Zhongshan Yongfa Paper Company have obtained the title “Hong Kong-Guangdong Cleaner Production Excellent Partner”, while Progen Automotive has obtained the title “Hong Kong-Guangdong Cleaner Production Partner (Manufacturing)”. 

It is learned that the “Hong Kong-Guangdong Cleaner Production Partner” program is part of the regional environment improvement work cooperated by Hong Kong and Guangdong,. It aims to improve environmental quality, reduce emissions of air pollutants and lower energy consumption to increase economic efficiency with green manufacturing. 

Last year, seven Zhongshan companies obtained the “Hong Kong-Guangdong Cleaner Production Excellent Partner” title and one obtained the “Hong Kong-Guangdong Cleaner Production Partner (Manufacturing)” title.
