Cheng Wumei, who lived in Huzhou Village in Banfu town, once had a happy family. She came to Zhongshan for work in 1997, married with one of her townsman in 1999, and lived with steady work and income and her healthy son.

However, the fate made a joke on her after she got pregnant again in 2008. Her six-month-old daughter Zhang Yanting suffered from high fever, and unfortunately was diagnosed hereditary beta-thalassemia.

After the poor story of the little girl reported by media, many citizens donate more than 10000 yuan through the charity platform. But the amount is still insufficient for the medical operation.

Anyone who want to give a helping hand can find relevant information through charity Wechat account “Zsbycm” or official account of Zhongshan Daily “zhongshandaily”.
