Press conference of the 2017 Guzhen International Lighting Fair (2017GILF) was held on October 24.

The main venues will be set in Lighting Capital Ecological Wetland Park and Guzhen People’s Square. Lighting landscapes will be also placed in the four major lighting stores in the town, the square in front of the wetland, and the main roads of Guzhen Town.

"Technology" elements will be integrated into the lighting landscapes. For example, a 3D light curtain fountain set in the Lighting Capital Ecological Wetland Park will be one of the large special attractions in the 2017GILF.

It will be the third international lighting fair this year, says Liu Jianhui the Secretary of Guzhen Party Committee. The event aims to show the technology art and creative culture of lighting to the public, hoping to raise their awareness of the lighting industry as a creative economy, and to enhance their understanding of the change from "manufacturing" to "create" lighting products. In addition, the event is hopefully to motivate designers and manufacturers to bring more creative lighting boutique and works of art.
