Zhongshan Civil Affairs Bureau released the situation of Zhongshan’s low income families over the past 5 years on October 24. 

Zhongshan has developed the “minimum living level and price inflation linkage and natural increase mechanism” since January 2013. By September this year, the threshold of “Zhongshan’s low income family” is 896 yuan/month, up 108% from 430 yuan/month at the beginning of 2013. The per capita compensation was 667 yuan/month, which tops the cities in Guangdong Province. 

It is learned that 9163 citizens from 4276 family in Zhongshan have been incorporated into the minimal living standard network. From January 2013 to September 2017, Zhongshan has issued more than 230 million yuan living guarantee fund in total.
