On October 29, the launching ceremony of the "Happy Travelling” civilized tourism promotion activities was held in Zhongshan Arboretum. According to statistics, nearly two thousand people attended the ceremony, and more than 1 thousand fans respond to the ceremony through WeChat.

The promotion activities are launched in order to call on Zhongshan citizens and tourists to “say no” to the uncivilized behavior in travel time. At the launching ceremony, the “civilized tourism proposal” was issued to citizens by volunteers along with a variety of forms such as reading the proposal, signature support, sharing the moment and collecting likes in WeChat. The "Civilization behavior guide to Chinese citizens traveling abroad" was also introduced to citizens to guide them to further understand the specific requirements of civilized tourism.

The organizer also convened more than 200 volunteers to participate in the “mountain cleaning action” with tools.

It is reported that the activities will last for four months. It is expected that more than 10 thousand people will be involved.
