The 20th China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (GILF) opened on the convention and exhibition center in Guzhen on October 30. At the opening, the awarding ceremony of “China Light Industry Characteristic Region and Industrial Cluster Innovative Demonstration Zone” and the issuing ceremony of the founder members of “Guzhen Lighting Brand Alliance” were held. The awarding ceremony of the Guzhen Cup Chinese Writer Reportage Prize and the parallel sessions of GILF were held as well.

This lighting fair would last for 5 days and was held together with the 2017 Guzhen Exhibition for Production Equipment for Lighting and Raw Materials and the exhibition of 7 special lighting equipment sellers within Guzhen. The two exhibition halls covered an area of 1.5 million square meters. Nearly 2000 quality lighting enterprises attended this fair, 811 of which exhibited in the main hall. This lighting fair attracted over 70,000 buyers, up 28.3% year on year, including nearly 8,000 overseas merchants, from 163 countries and regions.

This fair highlighted and advocated original design by the exhibitors. For instance, the demonstration zone for lighting projects and designs was set in Venue A of the main hall. It focused on displaying the products by leading decorative lighting companies. Meanwhile, innovative design competition for festive lanterns and golden exhibitors competition were held. The host also set a specialized zone for 2017 China’s international lighting equipment design competition in Venue A, offering an opportunity for buyers to see the charm of the awarded lighting equipment.
