Zhongshan's CPI rose by 1.6% in the first three quarters

According to Zhongshan Investigation Team of National Bureau of Statistics that in the first three quarters of this year, Zhongshan’s consumer price index (CPI) rose by 1.6%. In specific, the consumer price rose by 0.7%, service price rose by 3%, food and wine/tobacco prices fell by 0.7%, and non-food and wine/tobacco prices rose by 2.7%.

In the first half of this year, Zhongshan’s CPI stays negative and entered the third quarter, affected by the rising prices of fresh food, energy and other goods, the CPI returned to positive range. It roses by 0.3%, 0.1% and 0.4% respectively in July to September.
