Another two Zhongshan-based small food workshops centralized processing zones, which supervise production of barbecued meat, peanut oil, noodles and etc, went into operation in recent days, said Zhongshan Food and Drug Administration Bureau. 

The small food processing zone in Tanzhou town was renovated from the old factories, which contains 19 shops. The food processing zone adopts a running model that features “massive production, intensive management, testing before delivery, quality associated with producers”. Within the zone, there are video monitoring system equipped and professional food testing lab established. The other food processing zone in Shaxi town was also renovated from old plants.  

So far, totally 8 small food workshops centralized processing zones have been operational in Zhongshan.
