The review meeting of the “Case study of Zhongshan’s Industrial Transformation” was held on the morning of November 3 in Zhongshan. In the meeting, experts thought highly of the research result and gave some constructive suggestions. 

In October, 2016, New Economics Research Center in Peking University reached strategic cooperation intention with Zhongshan municipal government and launched the study of Zhongshan’s industrial transformation with Zhongshan Bureau of Commerce.

Over the past one year, the research team came to Zhongshan twice and visited all towns and relevant government departments to investigate and discussed the phased research results. In addition to this, the research team put forward some policy suggestions for the transformation of various industries and the government support to the industries.
